The Biennale of Sydney greatly welcomes your involvement and contribution to YouSay. To ensure the experience is a positive one for all of our users and visitors to the site, we ask that you follow and agree to the terms and conditions outlined below. Users will be requested to confirm that they agree to the terms and conditions before they will be able to upload a review or post comments on existing reviews.

Terms and Conditions


The Biennale of Sydney (Biennale) reserves the right at its own discretion to remove any and all reviews/comments that do not comply with the guidelines outlined below. These include comments that use profanity, make personal attacks, or contain other inappropriate comments or material.

The rights to the content remain with the creator
You retain your rights to any content you submit, post or display on or through YouSay. By submitting, posting or displaying content on you-say.com.au or through its services, you grant the Biennale a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license (with the right to sublicense) to use, copy, reproduce, process, adapt, modify, publish, transmit, display and distribute such content in any and all media or distribution methods (now known or later developed). This may be made with no compensation paid to you with respect to the content that you submit, post, transmit or otherwise make available through the services.

Users agree that they are fully responsible for the content that they post
Users may not post content that is defamatory, obscene, abusive, that violates a third party’s right to privacy, that otherwise violates any applicable local, state, national or international law, or that is otherwise inappropriate. Furthermore, users may not post content that degrades others on the basis of gender, race, class, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sexual preference, disability or other classification. Language intended to intimidate or to incite violence will not be accepted.

Any review, comment or text uploaded to the YouSay website is not the opinion of the Biennale and if any comment posted on the YouSay website is re-published elsewhere then the disclaimer ‘This comment is not the opinion of the Biennale of Sydney’ must be used at all times.

Copyright and warranties
The Biennale does not give any warranty in relation to the material contained on this website. As appropriate, users should take action to independently confirm the currency, accuracy and completeness of any website material before relying on that material in any important matter.

You agree that the Biennale will not be responsible for any loss, expense or liability that may arise from your use of this service.

The text and images contained on this website are protected by the laws of the Commonwealth of Australia and the state of New South Wales, including copyright law. Apart from any use permitted under the Copyright Act 1968, no part may be reproduced by any process without written permission from the Biennale.

The Biennale will not be held responsible for posted information that may infringe on a third party’s copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights.

Reserved rights
Users understand that the Biennale will regularly monitor content and reserves the right to remove, edit or otherwise alter content that it deems inappropriate for any reason. The Biennale may ban, without warning or prior notice, any user who does not abide by these Terms and Conditions.

The Biennale will delete advertising/promotional posts or any similar misuse of the YouSay website.
